An online platform was used to organise farewell, Teachers Day and fresher’s Party. Due to pandemic, the students collaboratively worked hard to organize these events. The theme of the Fresher’s Party was famous Film characters.

On 3rd November, 2020, the Departments of Psychology, Philosophy, and Physical Education & Sports Science at Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi in collaboration with IQAC hosted a multidisciplinary workshop on Women Achievers: Creating History, Nourishing Present and Building Future.

The program started with an inspiring welcome address by the Principal. Two eminent speakers from diverse fields enlightened the audience about the topic under consideration. The first Speaker Dr Divya Sadana (Working in New Jersey USA as Clinical NeuroPsychology Mentor) largely focused on hands-on examples from her rich clinical experience to explain about the topic.

Prof Girishwar Mishra, former Vice Chancellor and a stalwart in the field of Psychology addressed students on a very relevant and pertinent topic related to Health and Wellness. Around hundred participants- teachers, non-teaching staff and students from all over India attended a live online session which was highly engaging and rewarding.

Eunoia, the Psychology festival of Mata Sundri College, was held on 1st February 2020, under the Patronage of the Principal, Dr. Harpreet Kaur. The Co-Conveners of the festival, Dr. Harinder M Sandhu and Dr. Garima Kumar played a key role in executing the event and guiding the Student office bearers.

An interactive session on Joy and Happiness was presented by Ms. Shalini Verma Vikrant on 28th January 2020 at Mata Gujri Hall, Mata Sundri College. She is the founder of “Ambassador of Joy”; a programme that propagates the underlying theme of happiness which lies within people. She has even been a part of “the gratitude walk”, which is now celebrated as an annual fest in New Jersey. She has also written a poem – ‘Gratitude’.
