Interaction with Teachers of Mata Sundri School

An online discussion and brainstorming session on possibilities and potential of School Collaboration Project was held on 18 June 2021 which was attended by teachers from B.El.Ed. department and the collaborating school of the project. The objective of this meeting was to first share what the idea behind this program is, sharing of the experiences of the online teaching during the pandemic, sharing of resources prepared by B.El.Ed students and brainstorming on the way forward for the future course of action.

SCHOOL COLLABORATION PROJECT (2018-19)

In accordance with the vision of the project, the department is making earnest efforts to strengthen its community ties and jointly work-ing with the neighbouring schools to nurture the academic lives of young learners and teachers. All faculty members of the department have actively participated in the project to facilitate learning and collaboration.

School Collaboration Activities 2017-18

School teachers were invited for an interaction so as to take the collaboration forward and plan the way ahead. The specific requirements of the school teachers were taken note of, who also requested a specific focus on Mathematics pedagogy.

2016-17

SCHOOL COLLABORATION PROJECT - SAHYOG (2016-17)

The Department has carried forward the collaboration with neighbouring schools, Sri Guru Harkrishan Khalsa Girls Senior Secondary School and Kamlesh Balika Vidyalaya. An activity is organized every month in both the schools, which are facilitated both by the students and faculty from the Department. Activities like Craft from Waste, Poster Making, and Sensitization on celebrating pollution free Diwali and Interaction with students on stereotypical gender roles have been organized. Schools have also been donated Story Boards to be used as resource.
