Departments of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science of Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi jointly organized “Technophilia: a PPT Presentation Competition” on 3rd October 2019 from 12 pm-3:30 pm in Mata Gujri Hall.The event commenced at 12 pm with the Badge ceremony for the Executive members of all three departments.

Students of our department celebrated Teachers day on 5th September, 2019 in the college auditorium . Students organized a function to express the gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. It was celebrated by a beautiful dance performance, an impressive poem and a chorus song dedicated to the teachers.

Departments of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi jointly organized a full day Hands-on Workshop on “Exploratory Data Analysis”, in association with Hackveda Pvt Ltd., in Computer Lab-3 in the college premises, on 31st August 2019. The timings of the workshop were from 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.

Our students Sakshi Sharma ,Kavita and Sweta Khatri secured first, second and third positions respectively for their academic year (2017-20) . Sakshi Sharma also received Dr. Usha Dev Scholarship for academic excellence for the year 2018-19.

The career talk on the topic “Career opportunities in the entertainment industry: The Art and Science of animation” was jointly organized by the Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science on 28th March 2019 in the Mata Sahib Kaur Auditorium. The distinguished speaker of the talk was Dr. Jagmohan Singh Rai, Associate Professor, P.G.D.V College (Eve). The talk was attended by more than 250 students and faculty members of the college.
