A 30-hours online short term course on "Graphics Designing & Front-End Web Development" was organised by the Computer Science department in collaboration with GirlScript Foundation from Jan 2, 2021 to Feb 4, 2021. Classes were held on weekendS from 5 PM IST to 8 PM IST over Cisco Webex. 50 students from different colleges of Delhi University enrolled for the same.

The Department of Computer Science, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi organised this online two weeks’ online faculty development programme for the teachers of higher education in association with Teaching Learning Centre (TLC) at Ramanujan College, University of Delhi. The main objective of this faculty development programme is to assist faculty members across the country to use ICT, develop and manage online classes for their students.

The Department of Computer Science, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi organized a series of workshop in the months of JULY, AUGUST and SEPTEMBER to introduce faculty members and students with online teaching-learning tools, and encourage them to use similar tools to conduct online lectures effectively, as the time of the hour demanded Work from Home due to the pandemic.

The Department of Computer science, Mathematics, and Statistics organized a National Webinar on Technology-Enabled Higher Education in India: Challenges and Opportunities on June 15th, 2020 at 11 am through google meet. The key speakers were Prof. (Dr.) A.K. Bakshi, Vice Chancellor, PDM University Bahadurgarh Haryana and Dr. Arpita Gopal Co-Founder & Director, Juno Software Systems Pvt. Ltd, Pune.

Departments of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi jointly organised a talk on “Cyber Security” on 22nd October 2019 in Mata Sahib Kaur Auditorium for the students of all the three departments, from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm.The objective of the talk was to generate awareness among students to protect and keep themselves safe in the world of Internet and help students understand how to start with the basics of cyber security irrespective of their domain.

The Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, Mata Sundri College, conducted a stationery collection drive in collaboration with NGO ‘Kind Beings’, from 30th September to 5th October in the college premises. Students as well as teachers donated stationery items, from pencils, pens, crayons to notebooks and comics.
