REBOOT 2.0

The Computer Science Departmental Society, “CYBERNAUT” hosted its Inter-University annual fest “REBOOT-2.0” on March 15th, 2023. The fest was organised under the Convenorship of Ms. Varsha, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and the Co-Convener was Ms. Ashema Hasti, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science. The fest was organized to showcase the technical skills and talent of the students and to provide a platform for students to share their knowledge and ideas.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

An initiative of Cybernauts, the Tech Society of Department of Computer Science, in collaboration with PRAYAS-Placement and Internship Cell of Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi . An interactive and informative talk on ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE by Professor Varun Duggal, who provided his detailed insights about the topic on Friday, 24th February, 2023 from 2:00 PM IST in Mata Gujri Hall which was attended by 50+ participants.

4-DAYS PEER MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

“BUILDING YOUR PORTFOLIO USING WORDPRESS AND GITHUB”

Department of Computer Science and IQAC, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, initiated the 4-Days Peer Mentorship Programme on“Building your portfolio using Wordpress and GitHub”, on 4th October 2022. The department supports, engages and assists students in active learning for technical and creative capabilities of each student. These courses are able to offer students better chances of PG admissions, internships as well as numerous job opportunities

Career Guidance Session

The Department of Computer Science, Mata Sundri College for Women organized a Career Guidance Session for B.Sc(H) Computer Science/Maths/Stats and other interested students on 29th September 2022. The session provided exposure to the students, and provided a chance to enhance their knowledge in the subject area.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT

SAP LABS INDIA IN COLLABORATION WITH EDUNET INDIA

Experiencing the corporate realm firsthand is paramount for professional growth. In partnership with Edunet, students from Mata Sundri College for Women embarked on a visit to SAP Labs, Gurgaon, on September 15, 2022. This insightful excursion catered to 26 third-year students pursuing B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science.

Skill Enhancement Workshop on Advanced Excel

The Departments of Computer Science, Mata Sundri College for Women organized a two-day Skill Enhancement Workshop on “Advanced Excel” in collaboration with IQAC on 12th-13th September 2022. The FDP provided exposure to the participants (non-teaching faculty members) and provided a chance to enhance their knowledge in the subject area. Mrs. Sangeeta Pathak was the resource person for this workshop.

30-HOUR ONLINE SHORT TERM CERTIFICATE COURSE

PYTHON PROGRAMMING

Department of Computer Science, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, conducted the 30-hours online short term course on “Python Programming” under PEER MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME. This is the 2nd course that was being conducted under the Peer Mentorship Program in a 30 hours format. The course saw an enrolment of 337 participants from various departments of our college, including Sanskrit, Philosophy, Maths, Statistics and Computer Science, etc.

CAREER GUIDANCE SESSION

“WHAT AFTER BSC(HONS.) CS: PREPARING FOR HIGHER STUDIES”

Placement & Internship Cell, Mata Sundri College for Women, in collaboration with Department of Computer Science, Mata Sundri College for Women organized a Career Guidance Session with an aim to inform about the various activities conducted by the Cell and significance of internships your field of study for successful outcomes after graduation. The session was conducted for Computer Science first year students on January 22, 2022 .
