Educational Visit To e National Craft Museums & Hastkala Academy, Ministry of Textiles

First year students of Bachelors of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.), Department of Elementary Education, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi visited the National Craft Museum & Hastkala Academy, New Delhi on 13th May, 2023.

Educational Visit To Prakriti School

The field visit was organized on March 16,2023 by Ms. Divya Sharma and Dr. Manisha Subba for second year students of the B. El. Ed department. Two groups were made and facilitated by resource persons Mr. Ramit and Mr. Zubair.

Educational Visit To Prakriti School

Students of our college B.El.Ed. department (3rd year) went in two groups of nine each (total of them were 18). Each group went there for two days and stayed there from 8 Am till 2:30 PM each day.

Educational Visit To Digantar School

The 3rd Year B.El.Ed. students of Mata Sundri College, Delhi University went for their Innovative school visit to Digantar, Jaipur from 21.11.22 to 25.11.22. It was organized for third year students by Dr. Shweta Tanwar, Assistant Professor at the B. El. Ed department. The visit is an important component under Block Teaching which is a combined practicum of MDE-CRM. The visit was insightful as it introduced us to alternative and innovative teaching and learning methods.

Guided Virtual Tour to the National Museum

A guided virtual educational visit was organized on 19 February 2021 in collaboration with the National Museum for B.El.Ed. I year students as part of their Core Social Science paper. The objective was to give the students first-hand academic exposure to various historical sources and how to interpret these, as they have been introduced to various primary sources in their theory classes.

SLUM VISIT

Visit to the slums of Lal Bagh, Azadpur was organised for B.El.Ed.I year students, accompanied by faculty on February 15th and 18th, 2020. The visit was facilitated with the organization Janhit Society for Social Welfare, Azadpur.

Visit to National Science Centre

The Field Visit to the National Science Centre was organized for the students of B.El.Ed. III year. It was planned for two days i.e. 10th Feb 2020 and 12th Feb 2020. The purpose of the visit was to give exposure to students to the various exhibits and development of Science and Technology from the pre-historic times till date.

Visit to Jodo Gyan Organization

An educational visit was organised to Jodo Gyan Organization at Jia Sarai, Delhi as part of B.El.Ed. 3rd year Practicum Material Development Evaluation to explore innovative material for teaching learning of mathematics in Elementary classes.

Visit to Nehru Planetarium

A visit to Nehru Planetarium was organized on 18th October 2019 for B.El.Ed. I year students. A total of sixty people participated in this visit including students and staff from the college. Major objective of this visit was to familiarize students with significant milestones in the field of Astronomy and Indian contribution to astronomical knowledge, from past to present.

VISIT TO RASHTRAPATI BHAWAN

The Department organized an educational visit to the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi For Pedagogy of Social Science students on 7th March 2019 . The visit covered three major circuits: Circuit 1 (Main Build-ing and Central Lawn), Circuit 2 (Museum Complex) and Circuit 3 (The Mughal Gardens).

Visit to Yamuna Biodiversity Park

The field visit was organized for B.El.Ed. 3rd year students under their Pedagogy of EVS practicum component on 05.03.2019. Its objective was to make students understand pedagogical significance of field visits and nature trails in Environmental studies.

Visit to the Parliament

The Department of Elementary Education organized an educational visit for Pedagogy of Social Science students on April 09, 2018. The students were taken to the Chambers of Parliament, Parliament Museum and Parliament Library. The visit was to orient them on the importance of field visit as an important teaching-learning strategy in Social Science.

Educational Visit to Yamuna Biodiversity Park

Department of Elementary Education , Mata Sundri College for Women, organised an Educational Visit for the B.El.Ed III year students on the 17th Feb, 2018 to Yamuna Biodiversity Park. Mr. Manoj, the resource person, made our students aware of the steps being taken to conserve certain medicinal plants, butterflies, birds and animals which are on the verge of extinction.

Educational Visit to Aravalli Biodiversity Park

Department of Elementary Education, Mata Sundri College for Women, organised an Educational Visit for the B.El.Ed IIIrd year students on the 29th of March, 2017 to Aravali Biodiversity Park which is situated in the northwest of Vasant Vihar, New Delhi.The trip helped our students realise the importance of environmental conservation, economic importance of different herbal plants such as tulsi, pine, amla etc which have medicinal as well as nutritional value.

Visit to National Museum and Qutub Minar by B.El.Ed. IV year students

Students who have opted for Pedagogy of Social Science went on a guided visit to the National Museum and Qutub Minar on 17th March 2017. Dr. Manisha Subba coordinated the visit.

Theatre Cultural walk by B.El.Ed. I year students

Theatre Cultural Walk to Ghalib Institute and Mandi House was organised under the I year theatre practicum. It was a well guided tour under the guidance of Mr. Lokesh Jain and accompanying faculty members of the department.
