An offline and online free legal aid camp was conducted on 23 rd of September, 2022 from 11 am to 12:30 pm(offline) and 5 pm to 7:00 pm (online)by the department of political science, Mata Sundri college for women, Delhi University in collaboration with the life lotus foundation. This camp took place under the supervision and guidance of Dr.Rachna Kumari Prasad.

The “Mock Electioneering” was held on September 5, 2022 from 12:00-2:00 PM at Mata Sahib Kaur Auditorium, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi by the Department of Political Science, Polimates. The retired faculty of the department, Dr. Harjinder Chawla and Dr. Jasjit Kaur were invited as the Chief Guests to the event. The event highlighted the cons of the party politics in India with special emphasis on the unfulfilled promises by the politicians and their parties.

The sambal society of the political science department are mainly for the benefit of Hindi medium students through group discussion and paper presentation. The second sambal event for 1st year students was organised on 1st July,2022 from 2:00 pm onwards by the department of political science in Room number 111 of college. It was a first offline event after covid 19.

Career Counselling Session was organized on 12th February 2022 from 3:00 PM onwards by the Department of Political Science. The session was a virtual event and was held on zoom platform. More than 300 students had registered for the programme.

‘Sambal’ which means support, is an initiative taken up by the Department of Political Science with a view to help Hindi medium students from the department. Sambal event was organized by the Department of Political Science, Mata Sundri College for Women, Delhi University on 29th January,2022 on the topic "Marxist Political Theory". This event was highly appreciated and well interacted with participation of more than 40 students from first year hons and program.

The alumni of the political science department are excelling in various fields like academics, law, civil services, media, social work, research, corporate world and a lot more. Alumni Meet ‘COALESCE 22’ was organised on 15th January from 12pm onwards by the Department of Political Science in Collaboration with the Central Alumni Committee of Mata Sundri College and was a virtual event held at Zoom.
